The library was founded under Gazi Husrev-beg’s endowment deed of 1537 and is still at work today. Its modern building on Gazi Husrev-begova houses a museum collection of more than 1,200 items in five themed displays. Our advice: check the museum’s opening hours on ghb.ba before you go.
