About Yellow Fortress
The Yellow Fortress (Žuta tabija), part of the 18th-century walls of Vratnik, looks over the old town and the whole valley. It is the city’s favourite sunset spot; during Ramadan, crowds gather to hear the iftar cannon. It is a 20-minute uphill walk from Baščaršija.
