About Latin Bridge & Museum Sarajevo 1878–1918
The Latin Bridge is one of the oldest bridges over the Miljacka. On the corner beside it, on 28 June 1914, Gavrilo Princip shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie. The Museum Sarajevo 1878–1918 on the corner tells the story of the Austro-Hungarian period and that morning.
