About Ferhadija
Ferhadija is Sarajevo’s main pedestrian street, running west from the bazaar past the Sacred Heart Cathedral to the Eternal Flame. It is lined with fashion shops, bookshops, cafés and cake shops, and the Meeting of Cultures line is set into its paving where the Ottoman town meets the Austro-Hungarian one. Our advice: walk it at dusk, when the whole city seems to be out.
