Inat Kuća
The House of Spite

About Inat Kuća
When the Austro-Hungarian authorities cleared the riverbank to build the City Hall in the 1890s, the owner of this house agreed to move only if it was rebuilt, stone by stone, on the opposite bank: hence its name, Inat Kuća, “House of Spite”. Today it is a restaurant serving Bosnian dishes such as dolma, begova čorba and Bosnian pot, with a view of Vijećnica.
