About Emperor’s Mosque
The Emperor’s Mosque (Careva džamija) stands on the site of the first mosque built in Sarajevo, in the 15th century, and was rebuilt in 1566 in honour of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Its garden cemetery is peaceful.
