About Train to Mostar
Talgo trains run twice a day each way between Sarajevo and Čapljina, calling at Konjic, Jablanica and Mostar; Mostar is a little under two hours from Sarajevo. In 2026 trains left Sarajevo at 7:15 and 16:46. The line follows the Neretva through gorges and over viaducts: sit on the right for the best views on the way south. In summer, seasonal trains have continued to Ploče on the Croatian coast. Check the current timetable with ŽFBH and buy tickets at the station.
