About Marijin Dvor

Marijin Dvor, named after an Austro-Hungarian residential palace of the 1880s, grew up as the city spread west, and its high-ceilinged apartment blocks remain some of the most sought-after homes in the city. Today it is also Sarajevo’s new business district, with Sarajevo City Center, the Avaz Twist Tower nearby and the National Museum, all on the tram line to Baščaršija.
